It's been a while

I can't believe it has been so long since I updated my blog :Embaressed face: I forgot the password to my account!

I now have a huge stock of Knit Pro symphonie Interchangables. As always if you can't find what you want let me know. The wholesale price has increased on these now so the chances are that when i put another order in the cost to you may increase. Sorry guys. The good news is that the prices will stay the same until I need to order more stock, Yay!

I am now offering stitch markers hand made by me. They come in sets of 5 with one being slightly different/bigger than the other 4. This makes them ideal for knitting in the round as the bigger one marks the start of the round and the other 4 can mark increases, short rows etc. Currently £1.70 a set or I also sell Knit pro Zooni markers. Free shipping on all stitch markers.

Custom slots will open on the 1st of September. I will offer 2 longies slots every month. I am also working on a winter beenie hat design which I will make available in additional slots.

Knit pro and addi lang circular needles are on order and have been for a month now. With a bit of luck they should be here soon.

Lanolin is still on the cards at some point in the future. My aim is that you can buy everything you need for your woolies or knitting from one place, saving on postage costs. So please bear with me on this.

News at Snoozley Woozley.

March looks to be a busy Month for me. I have offered on CNT a free soaker with every pair of longies purchased amongst other offers and I seem to have plenty of interest. :) I can't wait to start getting orders in so I can create lots of loverly items.

I am introducing my new leg warmers. I thought it would be nice for customers to be able to buy some to match the soakers. Pic's to follow ASAP.

My addi and knit pro needles are still on order. I am getting a bit fed up of waiting to be honest as it has been nearly 2 months now. I keep asking for an estimated date of delivery but now three dates have been and gone and I still don't have them. Circular needles were one of the main things I wanted to sell so I am praying that they come soon.

I am happy to take orders for skirties although I haven't had a chance to knit up the design yet to test the pattern out. I am keen to be able to offer skirties though so please email me with any interest or purchase a custom slot ;)

I am also running a competition for new ideas of knitted products this will start on the 22nd March and entries need to be in by the end of the month. The winner can choose from their design knitted for them, 250g of yarn or £15 off a pair of longies for their prize.

First pair of tester longies finished

The first pair of tester longies are finished. These are the medium pair for (CNT name) Flutterby. The small pair are started and with a bit of luck I should get a fair bit finished tomorrow.

I have opened the shop. One custom slot is sold but there is still one slot left for February. If I have enough time I will add another one later in the month. I need to squeeze in making a blanket for my niece or nephew to be too at some point. :)

Circular needles should have been dispatched from the suppliers by now. I ordered them last week so expecting them any day. I am very excited. I am only starting with a small stock of addi lang fixed circulars in 30 and 40cm lengths up to 5mm gague. Knit pro interchangables I am currently only stocking in the 40cm cable lengths and a few compatable needle tips. Very few at the moment but I will be expanding the range as the business grows.

Monkey foot wetbags and pumpkin pants fleece soakers are instock. Pumpkin pants fleece poncho 2 go's should be in in the next couple of weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for those :)

Quick update

I have been busy this week. I have finished the custom longies that I have been working on...

I have been dyeing wool...

And I have been busy working on my new website. All being well I am hoping to open shop on the 1st February. Just a quick update really as I must get on and sort of the website!

Lots happening at Snoozley Woozley Baby

Where to start! Well I have ordered a WAHM cart so the new website will be up and running soon. I am hoping for the begining of Feb. So excited to actually have a date in mind for opening! Yay! I am soon to put in an order of Addi lang circular needles, possibly knit pro needles (although these might come later), lanolin, more yarn, more dye and hopefully some fleece soakers too.

I am working on my first custom knit using yarn that the recipient has sent to me from jellynosechic. Here are the progress pics from yesterday. I am currently half way down the first leg but haven't uploaded the pics yet. They look much more like a pair of longies now.

If you are interested in a custom knit please contact me. You don't need to wait for the shop to open. I can knit with your own yarn or dye some to your specific choice of colours.

My yarn was dispatched last week so I am hoping it will be here Monday or Tuesday.

Testers have been chosen for the longies design and details can be found on my WAHM thread on CNT. Those who are testers have been contacted.

Just because they are cute here is the last pair of longies I made for Lucas using Luscious Little Somethings 'purple blues' colourway. I am very proud of these. They look fab and are so soft and snuggley.

Stiil no yarn

Still no yarn but at least I know why now. I had an email from by supplier last night to say that they hadn't had their delivery because of the snow so there is obviously a delay on my order. Gaah! So have to sit here tapping my fingers while I wait. Obviously can't get on with any tester choosing until I have something to knit so if you haven't emailed me your measurements you still have time. :) snoozleywoozleybaby@googlemail.com

Pics of my acid dyes

Here's the lovely packed dye kit. I am still waiting on my wool arriving. I don't think the postman is coming because of the snow :cry: I am desperate to get started on dying but will have to wait I guess. I have dye in the following colours; Wattle (yellow), Sage (green), Desert pea (red), Rasberry (purple), Marine (blue), and Currawong (black). I also have on the way from Luscious little somethings, Magenta, Orange, Turquoise and Navy. Can't wait to cook up some lovely colourways and knit them up. If anyone would like a particular colour I am more than happy to source it. Please ask.

TESTERS! I will be asking for details of testers just as soon as the wool gets here. I am happy that my longies pattern is ready so will be picking testers soon. There will be a thread on Cloth Nappy Tree WAHM section, just as soon as I am ready to get started :)

My next project is to work on my soaker pattern. I have an idea of how I want it to be but just need to get it knitted.

Woohoo. My dye has arrived

I received my first delivery of acid dye this morning. Can't wait to get started when the wool arrives. I have taken pics of it but will upload them all together when I get the wool. I have made a soaker that I wanted to test before I licenced the pattern but it costs far too much to licence so I'm not going to bother! Pics to follow of this too. ;)

I have been in touch with knit pro and hope to be stocking symphonie interchangables. If there is any other knit pro products that you would like to see in the shop please let me know and I can put in an order for them.

I am in the process of getting quotes for lanolin to stock in the shop and hopefully bring a whole new range of scents and lanolin products.

Just really an update but definatly more to come. I'm getting very excited!
